Chuck Haselwood's trip from a sectarian ranch in Ellensburg to a distinguished business owner and area leader in Bremerton is a testament to his willpower and entrepreneurial spirit. Birthed in 1923, Chuck's tale began with a vibrant decision to leave behind the farming life and hitchhike to Bremerton, where he began his profession functioning at a gas station. His solution in The second world war under General Patton just honed his drive, leading him to enter the previously owned automobile business after returning home. Partnering with Danny Jones, Chuck launched his own gasoline station and marketed automobiles, eventually forming a long lasting partnership with Bud Higgs to produce Chuck & Buds-- a car dealership that prioritized customer support, offering warranties uncommon at the time.

Chuck's relentless drive for development led him to broaden his service beyond used vehicles. Chuck's legacy lives on not just in the vehicles he sold, yet in his deep commitment to his community, which proceeds to prosper in Kitsap Region today.
